Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining, we understand the advantages of trenchless or no-dig pipe repair (also known as pipe relining or rehabilitation) over the older, traditional method of plumbing. Our approach can help to clear blocked drains, patch up damaged pipes, and repair the junctions from pipe to pipe, all without the baggage associated with traditional plumbing.We begin the process by soaking a flexible textile liner in resin and then inserting it into the inversion drum before releasing it into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water. This completely lines the inside of the old pipe and eliminates any existing or potential damage. The resin cures at ambient temperature, but this can be accelerated by passing warm water or steam through the liner. Once cured, it creates a completely new watertight pipe within the old one and provides a strong, permanent solution.After the new pipe lining process is complete, we survey the pipe and slowly cut out the junctions that have been covered over by the CIPP process and any other branch lines. Our team can usually complete this process in one or two days, and our state of the art trucks are equipped with all the power, air, and water needed to carry out the job.
