Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining, we provide a trenchless, no-dig pipe repair solution, also known as pipe relining or rehabilitation. This method has numerous advantages over traditional plumbing, making it the perfect choice when it comes to repairing blocked drains, patching damaged pipes and repairing the junctions between pipes. Unlike traditional plumbing, our pipe relining process does not require any digging. We use a flexible liner which is soaked in resin and inserted into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water. This completely lines the inside of the old pipe, eliminating any existing or potential damage. The resin will then cure at ambient temperature, however, the process can be sped up by passing warm water or steam through the liner. What this does is create a brand new, watertight pipe within the old one. Once the process is completed, we use a robotic camera to survey the pipe and slowly cut out the junctions that have been covered by the CIPP process and any other branch lines. This usually only takes a day or two at most and is done out of our trucks which are equipped with the latest and most advanced technology.
