Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining, we provide a modern and hassle-free approach to plumbing, with trenchless or no-dig pipe repair (also known as pipe relining/rehabilitation). This method offers plenty of advantages over traditional plumbing, making it the perfect choice for dealing with a range of plumbing issues such as blocked drains, damaged pipes and pipe-to-pipe junctions. Traditional plumbing and pipe relining share the same basic goal – to get your pipes and plumbing infrastructure back to working order – but pipe relining has the upper hand as it doesn’t come with the same ‘baggage’. The process involves soaking a flexible textile liner in resin and then inserting it into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water. This fully lines the interior of the pipe, eliminating any existing or potential damage, and creates a watertight pipe within the old one. The resin cures at room temperature, however the process can be significantly hastened by passing warm water or steam through the liner.
