Stages Of Pipe Relining
At Prime Pipe Relining, we believe that trenchless or no-dig pipe repair (also known as pipe relining/rehabilitation) is the clear choice when it comes to a number of plumbing issues such as clearing blocked drains, patching up damaged pipes, and repairing the junctions from pipe to pipe. Unlike traditional plumbing, this cutting-edge process eliminates any existing or potential damage to pipes. The pipe relining process begins by soaking a flexible textile liner in resin, before inserting it into the inversion drum. The liner is then released into the damaged pipe using pressurised air or water, completely lining the inside of the old pipe. The resin cures at ambient temperature, however, the process can be accelerated by passing warm water or steam through the liner. After the new pipe lining process is complete, a robotic camera surveys the pipe and slowly cuts out the junctions that have been covered over by the CIPP process and any other branch lines.
